Launched in 1994 the Hunter 280 is the perfect entry level coastal cruiser She is light and very responsive, with the roller furling headsail making her very pleasant under sail and great for single handed sailing. The cockpit is very large for a boat of this size, with the lack of backstay opening up the cockpit and providing for a convenient walk through transom.

The open cabin layout has a lot ventilation via hatches which also provide good natural lighting below deck and is one of the few designs of this size that can accommodate for a person that is over 6ft . One of Hunter s most popular designs ever!
